MXskinz, it started out with two people skinning like crazy, and
then as time went along, so many wonderful talented people have
contributed to the site to make it the variety that it is!

programs do you skin?: Windowblinds, NextStart, ICQ, XXcalc,
Quicknotes, Coolplayer, Winamp, and Beatnik. I used to skin Neoplanet,
but decided thatletting windowblinds skin IE was better. I've
also done a couple BoxBar skins, but don't ask me to remember
how *s*.
What
programs and graphics do you use to make your skins? : PhotoShop,
PaintShop Pro, Colorpad, SkinStudio and Notepad.

Skinning, sewing (I also design a lot of my daughter's clothes),
beadwork, gardening, cooking, fish keeping (fancy goldfish).....
Do
you have a favorite skin?: Usually whatever skin I am working
on at the moment. Or whatever skin I just finished *s*.
How
did you get interested in skinning?: I started with Neoplanet.
I made a couple of really girly skins for it. Then I stumbled
onto skinz.org, (right before or right after efront first bought
them,) and got completely lost. I loved the idea that you could
change so much on your computer and just had to figure out how
to do it all. I tried too many programs to count, then settled
on a few that I really liked and have pretty much stuck to them
since. At first skinning was just fun, but after a while it became
a challenge. I saw that my work was suffering from "sameness"
and laziness. Challenging myself to create designs that are completely
different from anything else I had already done keeps me interested
in continuing to skin, and has inspired me to seek a career in
graphics.
