At
MXskinz, it started out with two people skinning like crazy, and
then as time went along, so many wonderful talented people have
contributed to the site to make it the variety that it is!

What programs do you skin? Yahoo
Messenger, mostly. I mainly started skinning that because I could
never really
find any good skins for it that fit with my desktop choices...
and so I ported a bunch of popular skins. Currently I'm
dabbling in skinning other proggies, such as Kewlpad and BoxNote.
Hopefully I'll tackle the tougher stuff in the future.
What programs and graphics programs do you use to make your
skins?
I use Notepad and Winzip for the delivery, and usually just
Corel Photo-Paint as far as graphics.
I'm apparently chained to that program forever.

skinning(of course), painting/drawing/computer graphics, and gaming.
Do you have a favorite skin?
IHmmm, that's a tough one. For the most part, my favorite ends
up being the one I use at the time. I'm still really digging the
Logika suite by Treetog and Alexandrie. I really love their work
, but who doesn't! :D
Now if I were to pick a favorite of *mine*, I'd have to say Lunar
Base for YM.
Do you have a skinning philosophy?
Since 99% of the skins I've done have been ports of other skins,
my philosophy as of now boils down to trying to keep the port
true
to the original yet at the same time be a tad original in itself.
I'll simply take some elements of the original skin and arrange
them in a way to fit yet not be a complete carbon copy.
What do you like to skin the most?
I suppose that's Yahoo Messenger! I think I could do it blindfolded
with one hand tied behind my back at this point...
I'm the mildly impatient type so it's a simple, perfect program
to skin
for me.
