At MXskinz, it started out with two people skinning like crazy, and then as time went along, so many wonderful talented people have contributed to the site to make it the variety that it is!

Here as a big thanks to each of them, MXskinz will feature a skinner each month or so! Thanks so much to all of them!

Lady Akasha

Name: Tonja

Nickname:
Lady Akasha

Where do you live?:
In the not so wild wild west

What programs do you skin?:
Programs ... none yet, but I hope to skin Window Blinds in the near future. For right now it's just wallpapers.

What programs and graphics do you use to make your skins? :
Bryce 5 as I haven't gotten my hands on anything better yet. Paint Shop Pro, and just purchased Ultra Fractal-- We're going to conquer fractals next. hehe

Website URL:
I don't have my own site just yet. But plan to in the near future. For right now my designs can be found at this wonderful sight. And at http://www.lady-akasha.deviantart.com as well as at http://www.wincustomize.com

Hobbies:
Oh so many. Nearly anything artistic. But my true loves are Graphic Design and Writing. Working on my first Vampyr novel--Hopefully it'll be finished before the next millennium. LOL

Do you have a favorite skin?:
It's really hard for me to have a favorite anything, really. Simply because I am so eccentric and eclectic that everything changes to my moods. But this is as close as a favorite can get; Transylvania for Window Blinds.

How did you get interested in skinning?:
It's odd really. It was several years ago, I was going to make a recipe book for my mother. I wanted her to have all her favorite, secret recipes in a lovely book of her own. Thus I was playing around in one of those programs loaded with clipart, you know where you can make anything from cards, banners, to you name it. Well, I realized I was spending a great deal of time making these things for her. By the time I finished one recipe it almost look like a very professional menu. However it wasn't good enough because I wanted to make my own designs. I thought I could do better. So I went and bought my first graphics programs, I think it was something from Micrografx and Jasc's Paint Shop Pro. So I started to play with web graphics and then moved to painted designs, and little by little kept moving forward. Upon realizing that, though I couldn't draw for beans, which I wished I could...somehow in a program I can make things! Nice things! So I started doing wallpapers that some of you may have used and digital art. Now I'm thinking of going back to college--after all this time and doing a double major in English Literature and of course Visual Communications hehe (Oh and mother's recipe book has never been finished, poor dear.)
